Okay, this lack of leg room seriously made this trip kind of miserable.
Jason and I almost bailed on the trip when we realized that there was literally no leg room in the back seat of the jeep, and that we would be in it for almost 12 hours on bumpy roads. Needless to say, we all switched out of the cramped back seat on a regular basis since none of us could handle it for very long. It's actually way worse then it looks. One girl said "she felt like she aged 20 years" after a two hour stint in the back.

Lake Mckenzie
This was by far one of the most spectacular beaches I have ever been in. The fresh water (not salt) was warm as a bath tub, and the sand so fine we were able to not only give ourselves great exfoliations, but also clean our jewelry.

These vines wrapped around the tree are actually slowly killing it.
These vines are a problem in the rainforest. Who would have known?!

My first experience with Kangaroo's in the open.
We got so close to these guys, it was amazing. They were just hanging out by the side of the road.
