Summer Palace nestled in the mountains surrounded by a lake.

This was the most picturesque palace we have seen thus far, mostly because of the expansivenes of the nature and beauty that surrounds it. We could certainly see it being a lovely summer home!

We actually walked all the way around the the Summer Palace, and then took a boat from the palace to this center island, and then crossed over this bridge to get out to the exit area. Quite a lovely little afternoon!
