The ascent begins by train to the highest train station in Europe
We will evetually end up at the top of that snowy mountain -- Jungfrau
Grindelwald is our first train transfer
As you can tell, we got an incredible sunny day for our journey

WE decided to take a little hike at this stop, and catch the next train

Eismeer lookout point at 9300 feet -- the temp. had dropped a lot by now
This is the tunnel that cut through the mouuntain to get us to the top
Once we got to the second lookout, we were blinded by the snow it was so bright
Finally we're at the top after a 3 hour train journey to get there
It just keeps getting more scenic
Now we're inside the ice cave, which had lots of neat ice statues
Trying to stay warm in the cave while checking out the cool ice sculptures
Melting penguins. . .
It's official that we're at the Top of Europe at the highest train station
The sunshine was just peaking through the clouds
Good thing Jason brought the flag up so he could plant it firmly at the top!
I'm balancing precariously on a rock that is at hte ledge of this large canyon

We ate lunch in the Crystal Palace which you can see here
It truly felt like we were on top of the world
Someone's about to get nailed with a snow ball
I know, so cheesy! But we made it to the top and we're excited
Coming down the mountain
Now that's a scenic town with a waterfall and view of the snowcapped mountains
This snow melt raging down the river -- it looked so cold!
And now this day is done. . .
