Although we were concerned this would be a cheesy restaurant, it was quite tastefully done, and the food was delicious.

You know, when you travel together, we usually just end up taking pictures of each other.  We vowed this day we'd get a quintessential couples picture looking out at Cape Reinga.

There is some beautiful Maori culture  connected to this area.  This is the place where their spirits are said to descend into the ocean when they pass away.

Kevin was the most knowledgable tourguide.  He had endless amounts of information on our dunerider tour. I highly recommend this if your heading up to the Bay of Islands.
