Copthorne Hotel, Bleinheim
Moving in to yet another plsce . . .

Hmmm, what will he order from Bacchus?
Jason takes his food and drink selection quite seriously.

Cloudy Bay Winery
Our first stop of the day on a wonderful, private wine tour with Bubbly Grape of the Marlborough wine region. Cloudy Bay is the most popular New Zealand wine in the states, shiping large quantities of it. You would probably recognize the label right away.

Allan Scott Winery
We had a wonderful pourer here, whose enthusiasm for the wine was amazing. She totally hooked us on the Prestige Chardonnay which was carmelly and delicious!

Hunter's Winery
Very disappointed in the wines, to the point of dumping some out! The setting was gorgeous though, and Liz, the winery dog was quite cute.

-
Nautilus Winery
We enjoyed a chees plate while sitting outside here. Also, met some fellow Americans visiting from Walnut Creek while there.

Framingham Winery
Small boutique winery, with a really neat wine cellar. Very Frech classic looking tasting room.
-
Framingham;s Label
This Framingham's label design, which I think is gorgeous, has the most beautiful symbolism in it. If you click to the link you'll get some history on it.
-
Framingham's Cellar
Kind of looks like the wine is in jail.

Jason's hopeful new office. . .
He loves how nice and cool it is down in the cellar. At the same moment I blurted out how cold I was down there, he announced how he finally felt at a comfortable temperature.

Kerry, our Bubbly Grape Cheauffer
A total sweetheart, who new very little about wine. BUT, she made a great driver and took us to some great wineries!
