Napier Beach
All the "sand" at the beach is rubble, smashed up by the earthquake of 1926. Although a gorgeous view, not a comfortable beach to lay out on.

Iona College
This is the borading school that Dan works at, and was giving us the tour of. His house is located directly next door. Although it's called Iona College, it's a grade thru high school education.
