Some of our great memories from Israel, besides getting robbed, was going to Maktesh Ramon in the early evening and watching the animals come down to the river to drink. Walking through the caves at Rosh Hanikrah and and hiking up near Tel Dan are also things that you would enjoy. Take some side trips and try to find some Bedowins who are really friendly and will take you into their tents, it is an experience.

Forgot to mention if you enjoy scuba diving or snorkeling, don't miss Eilat. The beaches are great and if you scuba dive you will be amazed at the lox, gefilta fish, and smoked fish you will see. The water really is clear and the fish are every color you can imagine.

I was actually a bit disappointed with Eilat after spending time at the Red Sea in Egypt. The promenade in Eilat was jam-packed in an annoying way. Really chaotic. I love chaos in big cities. But not at beach cities. It was quite a shock after spending time in Egypt.

But this is just my personal opinion...
