Dubrovnik Elegant Apartment - 08.31.07 - 09.08.07
This apartment is literally in the heart of the old town of Dubrovnik -- there are 4 bars on either side and across from it. It has the most character and charm out of any place I think we've stayed so far. This 3 room pad has everything you could need, including an amazing living area. We'll be sharing this place with my brother and his fiance, Aimee. An initial glitch with the wireless got fixed right away. The only downside is the 3 fligths of stairs to get up here. Okay, since now completing our 8 nights stay here, we discovered a few more problems. The noise at night is intolerable -- the music literaly rattles the place, the drunken kids screaming and singing is bad, and breaking glass bottles is just commonplace. The last thing is a very strange smell that has been eminating from the walls-- smells like something died in the there!
