Atrium Hotel, Budapest - 09.12.07 - 09.16.07
This is one of the more unique places we've stayed. The design of this modern hotel is very modular, containing a four story atrium in the center of it. There is a large pendulum on the wall that moves back and forth, which is really neat. The majority of the rooms face out onto the atrium, as does our room. The hotel is new, with great contemporary design and decor, an insanely fast internet connection, and also includes breakfast each morning. The metro is only 1 block away, making this a very easy location to get to. I would definitely stay here again! The one thing I have to mention which is just weird is that the toilet bowl is flat, so that things kind of just accumulate there -- we've noticed it being a common design for the toilets here in Budapest, and it's just a really dumb design for a toilet.
