Park Hyatt, Rosebank, Johannasberg - 06.19.07 - 06.22.07
This probably was the safest palce we could have stayed, since there was a mall almost directly connected to the hotel, and it was in a "safer" location. Had we paid what the normal rate was, we would have been thoroughly disappointed, however at our discount price we were satisfied. The bottom line is that wherever you stay in Jo'berg should be comfortable, since in this town you spend a lot of time in you're room since it's not a safe town to wander around.

Arathusa Safari Lodge, Sabi Sands - 06.22.07 - 06.25.07
Beautiful lodge located on the edge of a large water hole where many animals gathered. Our room was very spacious, and looked out directly onto the water hole. Lets just say this place was not the sort of accomodation I thought of as a "safari" accomodation. The best part about it, is that it's a small, intimate lodge where you can really get to know everyone. There is no doubt Jason and I will be back here again!

Cartwright's Corner, City Center, Capte Town - 06.25.07 - 06.27.07
David serviced apartment is in the heart of the city center, which is not necessarily the best location since the center is a little seedy (which is part of why we'll be leaving tomorrow). However, this unit is beautiful, with all the bells and whistles we could want, minus a stable internet connection (the main reason we're leaving tomorrow). Had there been a stable connection, we would certainly have stayed here longer!

Protea Hotel North Wharf, Cape Town - 06.27.07 - 07.02.07
Beautiful serviced apartment located in a much safer location then our original city center apartment, just a 15 minute walk to the V and A Waterfront. The furnishings are very modern, and it's nice that there is a large living area. It has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer unit. Also, has a nice fast internet connection, although you pay steeply for it. This is one of the most comfortable places we've stayed thus far.
