NH Geneva Airport Hotel - 08.09.07 - 08.10.07
Perfect place to stay upon arriving late into Geneva. Provided an airport shuttle to and from the airport, which was convenient. The rooms were nice, clean and modern. HOWEVER, the hotel loses major points since when we called and requested an extra pillow (they only provided 2 small ones) they informed us they had no more pillows left. Jason even called back himself since he didn't believe this could be true, and they confirmed no extra pillows. We were quite surprised a 4 star hotel didn't have a single extra pillow to give us.

Rolle Apartment - 08.10.07 - 08.13.07
Ethan's parents who live in Rolle (15 minutes outside of Geneva) were kind enough to secure their neighbors apartment for us to stay in, since they were out of town. This was a beautiful, contemporary studio apartment, with a view onto Geneva Lake. It also had a wrap around balcony, which was a great place to view fireworks from the second night we were there. It was a gorgeous unit, which we were very lucky to stay in.

Metropole Hotel, Interlaken - 08.13.07 - 08.15.07
One of only 3 hotels in Interlaken to have high speed interet connection, which is why we settled on this place. Located directly in the heart of town, with a view onto the famous snow-capped Jungfraujoch Mountains, this definitely wins the view award. The hotel itself is old and dated, and charges way too much for a tiny, room, with a shower curtain in the bathroom. Only picked this place because of the mimited choices.

Airport Hote Basel - 08.15.07 - 08.16.07
Beautiful brand new hotel about 3 minutes from the airport. Only opened 2 months ago, so felt very pristine. We were upgraded to a gorgeous room on the 10th floor overlooking Basel and the mountains. They had a bottle of champagne and a fruit basket waiting for us in the room in honor of our honeymoon. I would highly recommend this hotel, even though it's a little far removed from the city center. They do however give you a free pass for public transportation around town.
