Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon - 04.25.07 - 04.8.07 - Saigon
This hotel is absolutely stunning, located in the heart of the city and on the river. We got talked into upgrading our room to a corner, river view room for a little extra money, since we were feeling like we needed a little more space to spread out in after the cramped room in Hong Kong. The hotel has a very elegant feel to it and the 21 floor open atrium in the center of it is magnificent (of course all Jason can think about is wanting spit off it!) They were quite thoughtful to send up a beautiful "honeymoon bouquet"

Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort and Spa - 04.30.07 - 05.02.07 - Phan Thiet
Beach front bungalow, outside rain shower, small secluded resort, with amazing pools - enough said, this place was wonderful. The only thing that kept us from staying here longer was the terrible WiFi connection, that only came in at the bar area. Besides that this place is a must stay of you visit Phan Thiet - the price is right also for all that you get!

Sunrise Beach Resort - 05.02.07 - 05.06.07 - Nha Thrang
This place has a very classy feel. The room is spacious, although the bathroom could use a bit of a makeover. Wonderful balcony looks out onto the ocean (we were upgraded to the seaview room b/c it's our honeymoon!) They even arranged hearts out of rose heart petals on the bed for our honeymoon - so sweet! After wandering around town and passing by some of the other resorts, I'd definitely chose to stay here again.

Life Resort, Hoi An - 05.05.07 - 05.10.07
Beautiful, serene resort, located right on the banks of the Hoi An river. The rooms are wonderfully laid out, with a sunken living area, and a front porch with padded cushions. The resort is only a 5 minute walk to the old town, which makes it easy to access things. The pool is large and beautiful, amking it very relaxing to sit next to. I would definitely stay here again, as it's incredibly romantic!

De Syloia, Hanoi - 05.10.12
We decided to check out a cheaper alternative. They upgraded us to the De Syloia suite which was a very large room, that we had to take a staircase to get into. It was a nice central location, and easy to access things in the city.

Annam Junk Boat - Halong Bay - 05.12.07 - 05.14.07
Check out how amazing that view is from our room. We splurged for the "suite" on the boat, since it was only $30 more. It had windows on two sides, with the most amazing views. It also had a large bathroom (given it was a boat), including a high tech massage shower that unfortunately had a terrible drain. Plus, major bonus is we had our own, private balcony that we spent much time enjoying the views from and relaxing on. Only downside of the boat was the cockroaches that seemed to be everywhere, but we handled it fine.

Sheraton - 5.14.07 - 05.15.07 - Hanoi
All I can say is Starwood hotels are so great. They did not diappoint when we checked in and upgraded us to this colossal suite on a high floor looking out onto the lake. I just love these "honeymoon" perks. They also had a lovely fresh fruit assortment and flower bouquet waiting for us in the room for our special occasion. The room is truly gorgeous with a French flair to it. If we hadn't already bought our plane ticket for Laos, we would have considered staying here another night!
