The most expensive, and one of the tastiest pad thai's ever at Papaya
14 Euro's for a pad thai is very steep, considering in Thailand I think we paid 40 cents!

Venu restaurant on Annie's Lane, just off of Grafton
This was a delicious meal in a beautiful downstairs, basement restaurant. One of those places that seems like only locals would know about, which is why we were so happy Bern and Eddie brought us there
-
Guiness and Magners cider at the infamous John Kehoe pub
Eddie told us this is probably the best pint of Guiness in town!

Late night doner kebab at ISKANDERS on Dame Street -- open til 5am
This is exactly what we were craving at about 1 am after a long evening with Eddie and Bern -- the chicken kebab could have been a little moister, but I guess that's what happens when the chicken is roasting all day!
-
Lobster and Shrimp Risotto at Ely Wine Bar and Restaurant
Located in the new Docklands area in Dublin, we found this place on our way to the Keane concert at the Pointe. The food was pretty good, although for the hefty price tag we expected a little better. The wines were however reasonably priced.

Pistachio stuffed chicken at Amicus Restaurant in Cork
Very average piece of chicken. You could barely taste the pistachio, and it was drenched in sauce.
-
Prawn and chicken salad at Amicus
When I think of prawns, I think of larger shrimp. These were tiny little baby shrimp, that weren't that good. Amicus was very average!
-
Istrabrogs in the town of Carrologan
Not that good, but we were hungry and desparate so ate there. The town was at least cute though!
-
Phyllo wrapped goat cheese and tomato at The Cooperage Restaurant
Very average -- definitely expected more from this pricey restaurant in Killarney.

Eco Restaurant in Douglas
This was an adorable little locals joint in the tiny town of Douglas. We had a lovely "grownup" dinner here with Amanda and Scott for our last night with them. The food was again average, but the ambience was very nice.
