These people were brought over from Burma. Their survival is based on tourists buying their goods of woven shawls.  There is a major opium issue among these people since they do such hard lanor they rely on the pain killer to soothe them.  This visit to the village felt as if the people were on display, and it was kind of awkward.  The children were adorable, and we couldn't help giving them some money for their bracelets.
