This resort was a wonderful choice, for several reasons. First, it was located 3 miles outside the chaos of the city center, away from the majorly touristy areas. The resort is nestled up in the mountainside, with a view directly onto the Red Sea. Our room is in the new section of the hotel, called Shangrila, complete with a fantastic view, modern amenities, and a pretty solid internet connection. One really strange thing is the pool we look out directly on, is actually only an "ornamental pool" so we couldn't use it. The main pool is crowded with kids, and they play loud music, so it's not the most relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.
